Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) are assigned the number Udyog Aadhar, which is a unique identification number (MSME). It is issued by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. Udyog Aadhar’s registration, on the other hand, has recently changed to Udyam. The registration procedure is as follows:

Entrepreneurs can choose whether or not to register their companies under the PAN number. Before completing the form, they must provide all details on the PAN card for verification, including personal, business and financial data.
- After submitting the form, a MSME successful registration message will be displayed along with a reference number. After verifying the registration, MSME will receive a Udyam registration certificate within a few days.
- MSME registrants for Udyog Aadhar should go to the portal page and click on the “For those who have registered as EM-II or UAM” or “For those who have registered as EM-II or UAM through assisted submission” button. They must complete the registration data after which they are registered under the new Udyam registration.
